Elkhart, IN – The Elkhart Police Department will participate in National Prescription Drug Take Back Day on Friday, Oct. 25, offering residents a safe and free way to dispose of unused or expired medications.
The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Elkhart Police Department, located at 175 Waterfall Dr.
Residents are encouraged to bring their unused prescription drugs for proper disposal; however, syringes and liquids will not be accepted.
National Prescription Drug Take Back Day aims to promote public safety and health by preventing misuse of prescription medications.
